HORSELAND KAY IRVING GAMES, FLAT & MUSICAL RIDE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024

Games were run and costumes abound.  What a fantastic weekend.  Thanks again to Bacchus Marsh Pony Club for hosing this event. Such friendly faces feeding us all from their wonderful canteen for the whole weekend.

A little cold but the rain stayed away, and the fast pace of the game’s ponies kept everyone warm on Saturday.

Strongly contested Games with the 2 Woodlands Teams taking the top spots.

Woodlands Jets 1st, Woodlands Flyers 2nd, followed by =3rd places North Metro Composite and Bealiba, Stratford coming in 4th, Bairnsdale 5th and Woodlands Zoombies 6th.

Congratulations to all our competing teams this year.  Get your practice in again for next year.

Sunday brought the lovely sun out again, this time with a little more warmth.

9 Teams of Four riders from across the State looked slick, clean and well-rehearsed.

Stratford 1st, Maryborough 2ns, Bealiba 3rd, Macedon 4th, Colac 5th & Rosedale 6th.

The 20 pairs were competing quietly all day to get the final results.

Last but by no means least the Musical Ride blasted us all with songs across the hill and perform their creative and wonderful routines.  Colourful costumes filled the arena.
