Simon Tainsh will be delivering a coach development clinic for Pony Club Victoria on Saturday June 1st at Lochard Pony Club in Barwon Zone.

This clinic will be aimed at developing coaches’ skills in teaching cross country at rallies.   The day will begin with a course walk through all grades, to be followed by coaching demonstrations for grades 3, 4 & 5 and then 2 & 1.  Focus points: warm up / cool down routines, rider positions, managing rider groups, using watches on course, teaching challenging obstacles, training water, risk management and more!

We encourage riders to attend unmounted as they too would get a lot out of attending the day.

Demonstration riders required.  If you would like to be a demonstration rider at this clinic, expressions of interest are open for a small number of riders graded 1 – 5.  Complete form below.
