Pony Club Victoria Welcome General Manager Mat Glasson

Good Afternoon members,

After a comprehensive recruitment campaign, Pony Club Victoria would like to welcome Mat Glasson as the new General Manager of our organisation. We are thrilled to have someone with Mat’s experience, drive and attributes to lead Pony Club Victoria into our future.

With over 20 years’ experience in the sport and the not-for-profit sector, Mat has held senior management positions in both Australia and UK, most recently as Operations Manager with NBL1 (National Basketball League 1) club, the Joondalup Wolves.  Prior to this he was Head of Workforce with UK Coaching and the National Industry Manager with Service Skills Australia. Mat has a very strong track record with member organisations and with stakeholders, including with working knowledge with volunteer boards and committees. Importantly for our organisation, Mat has considerable background in the management of both the representative and the developmental programs at an organisational level.

Mat’s years of sports operational management will stand Pony Club Victoria in good stead to enact the key strategic priorities we all want for the future of our members. 

We welcome Mat to his new role and that you make him welcome. In Mat’s words:
