STATE TRAINING WORKSHOP... Last one for 2012!
Kate Wilson, Wednesday, 17 October 2012 The final State Training Workshop for 2012 is being conducted at Boolarra Pony Club in East Gippsland Zone on Saturday 27th October 2012. The workshop is offering topics for riders, parents and coaches and they will be tailored to NCAS requirements to assist coaches working towards accreditation. Topics will include SJ poles & grids, Cross Country, Flat, Innovative Coaching and lungeing.
Who should attend this day?
- Riders preparing for C*, K or higher certificates the lungeing will be of benefit to prepare you for what to expect on examinination day.
- Any NCAS Preliminary or Level 1 coaches can use this workshop to gain updating points towards their reaccreditation. (Mandatory 12 or 24 points every 4 years)
- Any training NCAS coaches can use these sessions to gain mentor sign off in their workbooks. ie inclusive coaching or lungeing in level 1.
- Parents, coaches or officials ... there is something for everyone!
These workshops provide an excellent opportunity to network with coaches and officials from around your zone to share information and ideas, or even to swap numbers!

Horses for lungeing need!
We will need a few horses for the lungeing demonstration so please contact Kate Wilson if you have a suitable horse - note it needs to lunge to a minimum standard the session is not to teach the horse to lunge rather to coach the handlers on correct techniques and equipment.
